this is my OTHER favorite! - i.e... how much? :) hint hint. :) This reminds me so much of cliff jumping... (ah memories) I don't know if it was your intention - but you for sure hit a note here - I think art should make you feel something - and this does. you make me proud to be your friend.

Yeah this was definitely inspired by the cliff jumping days! Thanks Peanut

I think out of all the prints you've got up thus far, this one is my favorite. It might not have a message as heavy as the others, but visually it really speaks to the viewer. The negative space in this is so appropriate for the situation and your line work in this really nice--you're not saying too much with it. Also, I don't know if you intended this, but to me, this looks like it could be just as easily viewed upside down (if you had the appropriate negative space).

Thanks so much. Yeah this one was sort of an aesthetic work more than anything. Glad you like it!

I think that this is one of your strongest prints in your gallery. The foreshortening is great and the line work is a lot more successful than some of your other pieces. I would also like to praise the way you carved the hands and feet. They actually look like what they are supposed to and are well done. One of the strongest aspects of this pieces comes from the fact that it is not a standard rectangle or square image. The organic shape that you chose to make instead really helps to make this piece unique and provide a lot of interest for the viewer. The only part of the piece that I am not sure about is on the far right in the upper and lower parts of the background. The mark making is a little strange and not as strong as in the rest of the piece. Overall I think it is excellent! Great job and I can't wait to see more!

thanks so much for the advanced critique!
